Yellow wheels

The Cycling Forum has been running since 2005 and is an opportunity for cyclists to air their views directly to councillors and officers dealing with cycling matters.

This Forum has been able to inform both the Local Transport Plan 2 and 3, and the Cycling Towns programme bid and implementation process.  Councillors value this Forum to keep them informed about cyclists' views.

Meetings are held in the Town Hall, which is convenient for buses and has adjacent cycle parking in Corporation Street and Clifton Street.  The Forum is held on a 3-month cycle.  It is chaired by a councillor with officers providing secretariat services.

Check out the Events page for the next Cycling Forum meeting date.  Please do come along and join in the debate, or provide an email address to receive the Forum's papers automatically.  The Forum has recently received presentations on the Cycling Towns implementation process, Local Transport Plan and Promenade works.
