Bike Mentors / Ride to school
If you would like to ride your bike to school but need some help to get started then you've come to the right place.
Blackpool Council offers a range of things to get you cycling.
If there are a number of you who want to ride your bikes to school then we can come to the school to help with that.
Or if you are cycling by yourself our bike mentors will come to your home or school to help you get started.
You will probably already have had Bikeabiklity training but if not we will help with that. Then we will check that your bike is roadworthy...things like lights and brakes.
Planning your route is important whether you are cycling with a group or alone so we will help with this and finally we will cycle with you until you are confident to do the journey without help.
