North Pier to Fleetwood

This is a more challenging ride along the coast to Fleetwood from the North Pier in Blackpool.

Detailed description of the ride

From outside the North Pier, head north past the Cenotaph.  Wherever possible, keep to the off-road cycle paths which have been developed to allow you to enjoy the sea views without having to worry about any traffic.

Once past Gynn Square, you can follow the route past the Jubilee Gardens.  As you head further north keep an eye out for Red Bank Road, which has plenty of cafes and restaurants if you feel like a break.
